Happy Thanksgiving
Yesterday was Labour Thanksgiving Day in Japan, so we decided to move up the American Thanksgiving holiday up a few days. We feasted on everything that is usually consumed on Thanksgiving Day with the exception of the turkey itself. Our carb counting days certainly came to a halt when beginning to plan, cook and eat this feast. We had: tortilla chips, guacamole, sour cream (which we found last minute), salsa, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, garlic mashed potatos, salad, cheesecake, apple pie, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, and I can't remember for the life of me what else. Throughout the day we watched both versions of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. At night after a couple of seconds and naps, Cristina and I returned home and we watched Beyond Borders, which I highly recommend to anyone who has not seen it.
Well, as much as I would like to write some more, I am not going to. Goodbye.
