Bye Bye Birdie
Hey everyone. It feels so good to have internet access again. I was seriously freaking out. But, I am over it now. Nothing much happened yesterday (besides me getting internet). Oh, I almost forgot. I did get a package from Megan with lots of goodies in it including a pumpkin for some trick or treating and a battleship game for next time we were stuck in a bathroom during a natural disaster. Let me tell you that I had a tough time explaining the concept of trick or treating to my office. Anyway, thank you so much Megan and I really appreciate your works of art.
Cristina came over after work. We were going to jog around Uchinoura but I guess the gods decided against it since it began to rain. We ended up grabbing something to eat and watching the movie Rushmore.
Something odd happened this morning. After everyone sat down to begin working, we heard a loud thump on the window. A bird crashed full force into the window and snapped its neck. It was laying lifeless outside when a man from our office walked over to pick it up. He keeps on saying it is probably delicious and has had it sitting on his desk for the past half hour. Odd, I know, and a bit unexpected from a place where I have learned to expect the unexpected.
Anyway, as much as I like typing on my brand new laptop with super fast internet, I have to go internationalize Uchinoura Junior High. Oh, tonight we are going to the Katos for dinner. I can't wait. I always have such a good time when I go over.
